Cocoanut Groove

September 10, 2007

The summer is coming to an end, and what better way than to mark this occasion than with some music?

Cocoanut Groove has managed to capture the moment where summer slowly turn into autumn, all in one song; it’s breezy and light, but you can hint the grey clouds that are growing up above, gradually blocking out the sun.

The man behind Cocoanut Groove, Swedish musician Olov Antonsson, also plays in Mattias & The Everyday Mistakes.

Crazy at it sounds, and it will once you hear their music, both of Antonsson’s acts are unsigned. But as last night’s Video Music Awards proved, big labels and expensive productions certainly don’t guarantee quality.
